My colleagues in the department organised a fundraising and awaeness fundraising event for MDS today and raised over £380 ......great support from my colleagues ..... well done indeed.

Admission has been confirmed as 3 May following conversation with transplant nurse today. Will need to ring first thing to check timing and pre transplant treatment begins in earnest on Monday.  Early start tomorrow as need to be in Southampton by 8am for platelets prior to Hickman Line...
